In partnership with the Office of Sustainability, the Tulane Green Club, and Undergraduate Student Government, Tulane Dining Services by Sodexo developed the OZZI reusable container program. This program allows guests to use reusable containers at the following uptown campus locations:
- Meal Swipes To-Go in Provisions
- Meal Swipes To-Go in the Drawing Board Café
- 1834 Club to Go
- Al Fuego in the LBC Food Court
- Wall of Greens in the LBC Food Court
- Zatarain's in the LBC Food Court
Once a guest has eaten their meal, they may return their containers to OZZI container machines to be professionally cleaned and sanitized. OZZI return machines can be found in the following locations:
- Outside of the LBC Food Court, quad side
- The Drawing Board Café
- Provisions on the Thirtieth Parallel
At the beginning of the academic year, all students, faculty and staff are eligible to receive two complimentary tokens on their Splash Cards. First Year students will receive two physical tokens. Tokens can be redeemed for a reusable container in Meal Swipes To-Go in Provisions, Meal Swipes To-Go in the Drawing Board Café, 1834 Club, and select locations in the LBC Food Court. After using the container, students and staff should return it to an OZZI machine to receive a new token. Machines are located on the quad-side dining area in the LBC and in the Drawing Board Café.
First year students received their 2 tokens at their residence hall check-ins. New this year, all upper-class students will have 2 OZZI tokens loaded on their Splash Card instead of having to re-register for the program. Students, faculty, and staff may opt into the OZZI program and receive two (2) tokens at various OZZI tabling events held throughout the semester or by visiting the Campus Services Office, Lavin-Bernick Center, Suite 107.
